Attention Afognak Native Corporation Shareholders!

ANC is conducting a survey of our Shareholders.  The information gathered from this survey will help us better serve the needs of our Shareholders. ANC has contracted with McDowell Group, an Alaska research firm, to conduct the survey.

By now, you should have received the survey in the mail.  If not, please contact our Shareholders Relations Department in Kodiak (907-486-6014 or toll free at 800-770-6014) to make sure we have your most current mailing address.  If you haven’t completed the survey yet, we are giving you an additional opportunity to participate with a second mailing of the survey this week.  If you have completed the survey already, you do not need to complete the survey again.

Please complete and return the survey to McDowell Group by February 22, 2010.  If you complete the survey, you will receive $100.

If you prefer, you may complete this survey on-line, instead of by mail, use this url: www.AfognakShareholderSurvey.com. Your personalized access code is the control number found in the bottom left corner on the last page of the survey which was mailed to you.

• North Slope Training Program -- CH2M HILL's North Slope Training is scheduled to take place February 14, 2010 to March 5, 2010.  Applications are due on or before February 5, 2010.  Click here for the application packet and more information.

• 2010 Board of Directors Election -- The deadline for questionnaires and resumes from qualified Shareholders interested in running for a seat on the ANC Board of Directors and being included in the ANC proxy materials is February 5, 2010.  Click here for more information.

• 2010-2011 Scholarship Applications -- The 2010-2011 Afognak Higher Education Program (HEP) Scholarship and Career Enhancement Opportunities (CEO) Applications are now available.  Applications must be postmarked by March 12, 2010.  Click here for more information.

• Shareholder Small Business Growth Program Now Accepting Applications -- Through a competitive application process, Afognak Shareholders and descendants that own businesses can apply for funds to assist in the start up, maintenance, or expansion of their businesses.  Applications are due on or before March 15, 2010.  Click here for more information.
